About the route
The 3rd of a series of 8 summer evening rides run by local Sustrans Volunteers to promote Route 45 of the National Cycle Network. Meeting at Croft Sports Centre (SN3 1RA) at 6pm for a 6.15 Start, We use a road route to get to East Swindon and then leave the urban area at Coate Water to follow R45 to Chiseldon and pick up the old railway route, R482 as far as Ogbourne St George, returning via Draycot Foliat, Coate Water and R45 through the Lawns and Old Town.
