The route uses an old disused railway line going from Stafford to Newport. Distance is 25 miles, 12.5 there and 12.5 back all off road. Mountain Bikes or Hybrids only for this ride please as the surface is a bit chewed up past Gnosall. Free Car park at start. If we find a Cafe open in Newport we will stop for a cupa, failing that we will take a slight detour on the way back at Haughton to Red Lion Farm Cafe for a cupa.
