Starting point

CH5 2DW

We leave the start point on a cycle path through Queensferry. We will then cycle a short distance on the road to access the River Dee path and then the Greenway off road track. We then travel through the Deeside Industrial Estate on cycle paths to access the area known as Burton Marshes, which gives wonderful views over the Dee Estruary, we cycle over wooden boardwalk to the area of Burton. We then have a road section on fairly quiet roads, but it is uphill through the village of Burton until we get to our turnoff for Puddington. We can take the hill section at our own pace, and walk if necessary, Having taken the turning into Puddington it is then a quiet lane to our destination.
Puddington Gift Cafe is a non profit organisation for charitable causes, the staff are trained to make the cafe a dementia and family friendly space. numerous events go on at the cafe throughout the week,
Our return will be the same way but gives lovely views over the estuary

Easy going relaxed pace ride using mainly cycle paths and short section of uphill road to get to our destination The Gift Cafe Puddington ( community Cafe )

Combination of off road cycle paths, cycle paths that follow road, a section of boardwalk across marshes and road to our final destination

After leaving the Deeside industrial Estate cycling paths, we access the Burton Marshes adjacent to the River Dee, we can stop anywhere to take pictures of the fabulous views and to have drinks. Final stop is the community cafe which is situated on a lovely quiet lane

Any working bike is suitable.
