Starting point

S6 5FE

Fire Station, Rivelin Valley Road, Sheffield.

A gentle commute to Crookes from Hillsborough that misses out the big climbs, and instead gently climbs in beautiful scenery. The route starts on Rivelin Valley Road and heads out along through Rivelin, out past the park, past Hagg Hill, past the scenery of the valley and woodland and out to the Old Post Office. We then take a left on to Manchester Road (A57) and climb up the other side of the Valley to Crosspool. We then go left over Lydgate Lane, and in to Crookes, where we use back streets to ride through the area. The ride officially finishes in Crookes, as it where I work. You can easily continue on to the City Centre, Sheffield University and Sheffield Teaching Hospitals, Fulwwood and Broomhill from here. I'm happy to advise on a sfae route for you to continue. You can also easily return to our start point or headback towards Hillsborough. Please email [email protected] should require more information.
