A traffic free morning ride from Derby Arena to Elvaston Castle. We will meet at the café in the arena and head off along the cycle path next to the River Derwent to the tea rooms at Elvaston Castle. The ride is suitable for any level; if you haven't been on a bike in years do come along as it is a perfect route to build up your confidence on a bike. Also a great ride for children.

After a coffee break we will head back to the arena along the same route.

Traffic free, easy, flat route. 7 miles in total so perfect if you are new to cycling or haven't been on a bike for a few years

All traffic free along NCN Route 6 along the River Derwent before turning into Elvaston Castle at the weir

Money for the cafe, spare inner tube and pump

First-timers welcome!
