This is a social ride on the Summer Solstice on Monday evening 20Jun16. Going along the seawall route to Barge Gladys near Benfleet station. Why not bring along your husband, wife, partner, friends or neighbours? For those who don’t know this route it is mainly off road on firm level ground, a bit bumpy and gravelly in places by nothing a hybrid bike could not cope with. And one gate to lift your bike over. It takes about 30-45 minutes each way at a leisurely pace. It looks as though Barge Gladys is closed on Mondays so bring along your own refreshments. I am sure we can use their picnic tables if they are closed.
