Summer Solstice Ride to Cwmcarn Forest Drive Lake

Starting from - We will meet at the canal centre in 14 locks Car Park.
The carpark and centre is closed in the evenings but you can park sensibly on the local estate. NP10 9GN

As it's the summer solstice it's the perfect time to take advantage of the longest day and enjoy a bike ride up to the beautiful lake at Cwmcarn.
We will ride along the canal from 14 locks, this is a flat easy ride until we get to the entrance of Cwmcarn Scenic drive. It is then a gradual uphill to the lake. It gets a bit steep at the end but that can be walked.
We will stop for a photo and a snack at the lake before enjoying the lovely downhill.
Please bring snacks and a drink as the cafe will be closed.
Please also wear a helmet and bring a spare inner tube for your bike and tools to change it.
