Challenging road ride to Hooten Pagnell via Sprotborough and a few quaint villages. We ride upto Sprotborough Village and then down to the Don Gorge for a view of the River Don. A good level of fitness and a very road worthy bike is essential for this route. Doncaster is known for being fairly flat but there are a few rolling hills on the route. It’s absolutely fine to take your time on the hills and even walk if necessary. We will always re group and wait and there is no pressure to race up or down the hills. The reward of riding up is always rewarded with a nice downhill though. Which can be such fun. The countryside is mainly one of views of farmed fields, and villages along the way which are quaint and picturesque. An helmet is essential for this ride. Also a mask and hand gel are still advisable for any indoor situations. We do call at a cafe approx. at the half way mark of the ride where there are toilets and opportunity to purchase food and drinks.

Hooten Pagnell is a wonderful medieval village with expansive panoramic views. Providing Lots of opportunities for photos?
Pleas have tools and repair kits as well as spare inner tube incase of punctures.
