Summer of Cycling: Not Quite the Dorcan Round

Family-friendly ride of just over five miles.

Starting from the cycle path just beyond the Swindon 105.5 radio station (what three words: ///remove.downcast.advice) the route takes us past the Liden play area and past the Dorcan Academy. We then bear left and skirt around Eldene and then into the Parks and Walcot areas. There is a short section of road to cross before heading back towards New College on the cycle paths and a short road section along Buckhurst Crescent. We pass by New College and return to the cycle path alongside Queens Drive. There is another short section of road along Queen's Drive before we head back on the cycle path past Coate Water and the Richard Jefferies Museum. We then go through the Badbury Park Estate and past the Great Western Hospital before heading back into Liden and the starting point near the radio station.
