A great route with some tough challenging hills taking in parts of the National Cycle Network and Rickmansworth Aquadrome. The start point is The Lido, formerly a canal reservoir, and the film location for Cliff Richard's famous 60's movie 'Summer Holiday' (which was set in Greece!) Whilst the majority of the route is on tarmac roads, four miles are on shale paths.
