About the route
We start at Crosby Leisure Centre and make our way across Crosby on a few short busy roads to Rimrose Valley where we will join the canal and head towards Maghull. In Maghull we pick up the Cheshire Lines to Ainsdale before heading back through the Pinewoods in to Formby and back through Hightown to Crosby.
Apart from a small amount of riding on busy roads in Crosby the rest of the ride will be on canal towpaths/Cheshire Lines (trans pennine trail), through the pinewoods and some quiet residential roads so be prepared to ride on uneven, unpathed surfaces.
