Starting from - We will meet at the bike racks in front of the Village Pharmacy. Toilets are located alongside. Free parking is available at the Crofton Community Centre (PO14 2PP). However, please be aware that this car park is used by community groups on Saturday mornings, so may fill up quickly. If so, ample parking is available on nearby residential streets, such as Bells Lane (PO14 2BA) or Eric Road (PO14 2RW). Please wear a helmet, and bring clothing suitable for the weather conditions. We also ask that you bring a spare inner tube suitable for your bike, a bike lock, and of course, money for the cafe. Please arrive at 9.45am for pre-ride checks, and we will leave promptly at 10.00am.

The time allowed for this ride will enable us to ride at the pace of the slowest rider, and please be assured we never leave anyone behind. PO14 2JQ

If you've been meaning to cycle more, but haven't quite got round to it, there's no better time to start than a new year! Try out that new bike you got for Christmas (or dust down the one that's been languishing in the garage for so long!) Come and join us on this lovely seaside ride with views over the Solent to the Isle of Wight. We will be cycling almost exclusively on shared paths or quiet back roads, with only a very short stretch on a busier road. The flat route makes it very suitable for beginners and those returning to cycling after a break. For the first part of the ride we will ride slowly along the coast to Stokes Bay and take a refreshment stop at Bayside Cabin, before meandering back to Stubbington via Cherque Farm and Daedalus.
