This ride is for regular riders above beginner level at average speed 10 mph, mostly on trails or quiet, which can be done on most bikes with a bit more tread.
35 miles starting Newcastle Cycle Hub 9:30 towards Byker then through Jesmond Dean to Benton, Gosforth Park, Cramlington, stopping at Blyth for food continuing to Seaton Sluice, Backworth and down past Silverlink to the Coast Road back to Jesmond Dean to see the blue butterfly (don't ask)

Bring: helmet, tools, 2 tubes, waterproofs (even in good weather) and lights for your bike, also enough food and drink for hydration and energy
