Challenging 80 mile hilly ride, mostly road, with long rewarding downhills, on very quiet roads, with such outstanding views you'll barely notice hills, even feel the urge for second lap.
PLANNED STOPS X 3
20 miles 10 MINUTE STOP at Blanchland, public toilets.
37 miles MAIN REST STOP 45 minutes at Chatterbox Cafe, St Johns Chapel,
60 miles 10 MINUTE STOP Co-Op.
I've provided detailed route info below, please familiarise yourself with the route, make notes, bring copy with you or use Garmin or Komoot, This is a no drop ride, but wrong turns or a mechanical problem can happen. Please have a recovery plan if you're unable to finish ride. I can help with minor fixes but nothing major.
Bring waterproofs, tools, tubes and plenty of food, bars, gels and drink, as you will need to recharge yourself throughout the ride.
