Not cycled for a while and looking for an easy way to get back in the saddle? Fancy a fun way to get your friends or kids riding? Our Easygoing rides are great for building confidence for all abilities and ages along relaxed, mostly traffic-free routes. They’re up to six miles long, with a gentle pace of around six miles an hour. Come out and ride a family friendly woodland trail into Sherbrook Valley and enjoy some of the sites and sounds of Cannock Chase. We start at Milford Common car park area and after a short climb past sister Doras we follow the wide gravelled bridal way across to the stepping stones ford. From here we continue up the track into sherbrook valley where our view changes from the leafy woodlands to an open moorland view. Our destination is the second ford at the bottom of Pepper Slade bank.  Here we can either turn around and return on the bridal way we have just ridden up - or if the weather has been kind cross over and return to stepping stones on the far bank if its not to muddy.
