About the route
Hello Everyone,
The ride this weekend will be on both track and road. We will be covering a good chunk of the Christmas Pie trail from Tongham to Guildford and then a naughty little climb up The Mount and then cycling more trails until we hit roads when we drop down past Watt’s Gallery, through Puttenham, Wanbrough and Flexford.
The trail riding is not challenging, but it could be wet and muddy. Distance is going to be between 20-25 miles.
The ride is probably best suited to mountain bikes or hybrids with stout tyres (the latter would be ideal because of the trail/road mix). The brave-hearted may choose to bring their Penny Farthings or custom-built road bikes spun from Mithril steel.
Expecting a coffee stop at the Tesco near the Uni in Guildford.
Usual start time for a Sunday 09:00 outside Bridges Estate Agents on Ash Wharf.
