About the route
Our annual favourite ride to the miniature railway. The ride follows quiet roads and off road cycle paths to Colney Heath where we will enjoy rides on the live steam railways round the North London Society of Model Engineers site. Normally two lines are in operation plus café. Charges are made for each train ride, prices were £1.00 in 2011. The return will not be led so you can leave when you wish.
We will be running two starts which will join up at Hatfield:
Welwyn Garden City, Kinetic Cycles, Howard Centre, leaving 13:00
Hatfield, Wrestlers Bridge, Great North Road leaving 13:30
