Keswick

Come and try some amazing routes, created in association with our friends at the National Trust. Make the most of some beautiful countryside, and great facilities This is a special route along Keswick’s old railway line. Trains have long since stopped running on the line and it’s been resurfaced to make a superb traffic free walking and cycling route.  Along the way look out for the old station platform, bridges and tunnels, along with lots of activities from the National Trust’s list of 50 things to do before you’re 11 and ¾!  This route is perfect for families and people wanting an easygoing ride, at a leisurely pace.

Bike Hire

Bikes are available to hire from Keswick Leisure Centre, which is adjacent to the start point.

* Please do not use the postcode with a Sat Nav to find the start point. It will take you close to the area where the route starts, but it is likely to take you to Station Road, which cannot be used to access the start area. The parking should be accessed from Brundholme Road and Station Avenue.
