Star Wars/ Superheroes

IBikeLondon are bringing our epic family friendly ride to the streets of East London!

THEME: Star Wars/ Superheroes. We’d love it if you’re able to dress up and/or decorate bikes with colours and disco vibes so that we create a spectacle on the streets!

We’ll be starting at the ArcelorMittal Orbit, Olympic Park, Stratford at 13:00. The temperature may be hot so make sure to bring something refreshing with you! It may also rain, so bring wet weather clothing too!!



GETTING THERE: You can cycle or take the train or DLR. On weekends, cycles can be taken by rail (eg Stratford stations) and on the DLR (https://content.tfl.gov.uk/cycles-on-public-transport-map...).
And remember, if you're a family & arrive early, you can always go to the play area, a short walk/ cycle north from the start.

PLAYLIST: IBikeLondon will keep the atmosphere going with music from our fleet of Disco Bikes. We'll have plenty of classic tunes for you to ride along to!

The group ride will be at a relaxed pace, with all ages and abilities welcome! Bring food and drinks - there will be a stop along the way. .

JOINING THE EVENT: This is a free event and everyone can join, why not invite some friends! Please register so we have an idea of numbers.
COVID-19: We all still need to be aware that Covid hasn't disappeared, so please do take precautions to minimise spread.

RUNNING LATE: We will be running Glympse for this event & will post a link nearer the time.

SAFETY: We encourage everyone to ride safely, legally, and look out for each other. You will be responsible for your own safety and we are not responsible for any injuries or accidents during the ride.

CHECK YOUR BIKE: Please make sure your bike is in good condition and check your brakes and tyres. If you have a mechanical problem or a puncture during the ride give our marshals a shout and someone will help you.

WEATHER: If the ride has to be cancelled due to terrible weather we will update the event page 12 hours in advance.
