Please join me for this challenging ride, departing Llanberis. We head out towards Ceunant and Rhyd Ddu. We descend down Drws Y Coed to the Nantlle valley. We head to the coast through Penygroes and Llndwrog, and make our way back up to Llanberis.
This ride is weather dependent. We won't ride if there are strong winds (20mph+) or it is pouring with rain.
This ride is 'no frills' as there is NO café stop. We will have some roadside stops to have a drink/snack (bring your own).
Large proportion on A-roads and B-roads, with some country lanes mixed in.
Ideal for Breeze riders who want to challenge themselves and have fun! And those who are new to Breeze rides are very welcome. This ride is classified as ‘challenging’ as it is 54km (33 miles) at an average pace of approx. 20kph (12mph). Please be sure you are confident that you can keep to this pace before signing up. We ride up hills at our own pace and regroup at the top. We never leave anyone behind.
I always carry extra supplies (just in case!): sweets; water; period products; first aid kit; and puncture repair patches. So please let me know if you ever need anything.
Please do let me know if there’s anything I need to know or can do to help to make this ride more accessible for you.
