About the route
Starting point
Saffron Rd/Cemetery Rd alongside the park, plenty of parking on the road available.
Flat, steady route starting in Higham Ferrers picking up the Greenway cycle route and joining Stanwick Lakes, all the way to the end and back. Refreshment stop back at Stanwick Lakes if anyone wants to (bring some money in case)
This route is approx 15 miles and we will ride to the slowest paced rider. As most of the route is on compacted shingle surface this is not suitable for road bikes.
If you can please could you bring a spare innertube specific to your bike, I will carry everything else.
