Stanmore Jafferys Ladies Cycling, Aldenham, Elstree Aerodrome and Temple Loop(extension wall hall)

Starting from WD23 2BN, this Steady route takes in quiet A41 cycle path and country lanes to a lovely airfield at Elstree. Here we take a break at the on-site cafe to refuel and perhaps watch some take-offs This route has a couple of gentle hills - so is a good ride for anyone who wants a route which is mainly flat, with a little hill practice. You do need to be confident on your bike and sections of this route is on quite country roads.
