Meet outside in carpark immediately on the LEFT as you enter carpark.

CYCLE HELMETS ARE A MUST
You will not be permitted to take part in the ride without a correctly fitting bike helmet and bike lights.

Stanley Ferry Marina (Wacky Warehouse) to RSPB St. Aidens Nature Reserve

From Stanley Ferry Marina outside Wackyware House, we join the canal behind Wacky Warehouse and follow this to the fitrst bridge which we cross and trun immediately LEFT to follow the canal back on the opposite side. Follow canal towpath for approx 4 miles to Fairies Hill Moorings.
Go round the back of Tarmac Plant onto NEW Wakefield Castleford cycle way.
Take first LEFT (Golf course on right) following cycleway for 1.4 miles to Methley Bridge.

Leave canal Turning LEFT onto Leeds Barnsdale Road for .4 mile Turning RIGHT onto Green Lane.
Green Lane turns into Boat Lane then Lower Mickletown/Main Street. Follow for 2 miles.
At mini roundabout (painted on floor) Turn RIGHT onto Station Road.
Follow round until T junction with Leeds Road and Turn RIGHT,
Then second RIGHT onto Fleet Lane, follow for .4 mile.
Fleet Lane then meets with Leeds Countryway cycle/walking track. Turn RIGTH and follow track for 1 mile

At the fork veer LEFT over Carolines Bridge turning RIGHT at the other side.
100yds Turn LEFT into RSPB St. Aidens following track to the RIGHT which leads all the way to a lovely Brew!

Return by retracing route back to Station Road and the mini roundabout. Take 2nd exit to stay on Station Road.
At T junction Turn RIGHT onto Church Lane. Follow for .4 mile.
At T junction with Leeds Road Turn LEFT then Immediately RIGHT onto Park Lane.
Follow Park Lane for 1 miles and at junction Turn LEFT onto Watergate.
After 200yds Turn RIGHT on cycle/walking track following this disused railway for 2 miles.
At T junction Turn RIGHT up Bottomboat Road, Turn LEFT onto Aberford Road.
Follow for 1 mile Turning LEFT onto cycle track by railings opposite Lime Pit Lane.
Follow for .5 mile and your BACK!

CYCLING HELMETS MUST BE WORN - You will not be permitted to take part in the session without a cycling helmet.

WINTER CYCLING - Make sure you wrap up warm. Better to take layers off than not to have enough! Gloves are highly reccommended.
Please ensure you are wearing suitable clothing for cycling. A full shoe such as trainers are recommended. NO flapping trouser legs which can get caught in the chain.
