LS26 9ER

Station road, Methley. At the mini roundabout follow the sign for the national cycleway route 697 and we'll meet at the seat at the 'A' frame at the start of the trail.

This is an off road, traffic free scenic route starting on route 697 of the national cycleway and crossing over Caroline Bridge onto the St.Aidan's nature reserve. We cycle a circuit around the reserve and then head off back onto the national cycleway towards Lemonroyd marina, observing the local wildlife and boats on the waterway. We carry on towards Woodlesford lock passing the wood carvings in the woodland area and cross over the lock onto the the opposite canal path. From the lock we head back towards the marina area and return to our starting point on the 697. There will be an option of a cafe stop at the end of the ride depending on weather and riders.
