Starting point

Hertfordshire
AL1 2EX

This ride route uses some cycle paths and routes to head out towards Wheathampstead before a short distance on the Harpenden Road and then turns off to Bessonend and following on to Redbourn to stop at The Hub, a Coffee Bar and Cyclists Refuge. The return route follows part of the Nickey Line and takes in the quieter lanes back to Redbourn Road to head towards Verulam Park and return to the cycle hub

Please wear clothing to suit the weather conditions and bring a spare inner tube in case of a puncture - as changing an inner tube is faster than fixing a puncture. St Albans Cycle Hub sell inner tubes from £4.50 new should you need to purchase one.

Please check your bike is in good working order before the ride - especially that your brakes are working & your tyres are pumped.

If your bike might need a little more TLC or hasn't been ridden for a while, you can always bring it in for a free assessment; we're a Not-For-Profit, Community Enterprise and promise to give you an honest price if your bike needs fixing, fine tuning or a full service.
