Journey through time by riding through Verulam Park, past the Hypocaust and the Roman Wall, along roads to the entrance to Gorhambury Estate to the ruined Manor House, to return along the lanes to Chiswell Green for a refreshment break at the Lazy Llama in Greenwood Park before returning to the cycle hub. This is a great route to get out and use your gears to climb up to the manor house and Hemel Hempstead Road.
