ST ALBANS CYCLE HUB - MARSHALSWICK, JERSEY LANE AND HIGHFIELD LOOP - FAMILY FRIENDLY

This new family friendly ride route uses the Alban Way and other cycle routes and quiet roads to loop around Marshalswick, Jersey Lane and return to the cycle hub via Highfield Park. The ride will be at an Easygoing pace along a route that is virtually traffic-free and is a good route for adults who simply prefer to cycle traffic-free, as well as for families.
the overall distance is around 9 miles, with a refreshment break at a cafe in Marshalswick.

Please wear clothing to suit the weather conditions and bring a spare inner tube in case of a puncture - as changing an inner tube is faster than fixing a puncture. St Albans Cycle Hub sell inner tubes from £4.50 new should you need to purchase one.

Please check your bike is in good working order before the ride - especially that your brakes are working & your tyres are pumped.

If your bike might need a little more TLC or hasn't been ridden for a while, you can always bring it in for a free assessment; we're a Not-For-Profit, Community Enterprise and promise to give you an honest price if your bike needs fixing, fine tuning or a full service.
