The first ride in a tree-themed approach to route selection!
This is broadly our favourite 'nightingale and chickens' route but paying additional attention to orchards along the way and pausing to make a din in the tradition of 'singing, dancing, drinking and general merry-making' in orchards at Twelfth Night. I propose we make a wish the trees 'was hal' (good health) and make a hullabaloo with bicycle bells in situ and enjoy hot drinks back at the cycle hub.
Nice gentle ride, plenty of breather stops, wrap up warm. If it's been a while since your bike saw action, do check the tyres, brakes and chain beforehand and do any necessary inflating and oiling.
