Spring ride to Walters

From Dock Road we will cycle over Harwarden Bridge, along the River Dee cycleway towards Saltney foot bridge. Over the bridge along cycleway into Saltney by Morrisons to the traffic lights. Then onto Lache, Balderton, Gorstella, Lower Kinnerton to Higher Kinnerton to Walters Café.
Our return takes us through Breton then onto Saltney over the footbridge and onto the River Dee cycleway taking us back to Dock Road.

Lovely ride on cycleways and a mix of quiet and busy roads to Walters café at Kinnerton.

Cycleways and roads suitable for road, hybrid and E-bikes.

We will be stopping at Walters café at Higher Kinnerton.

A bike in good working order with tyres pumped up. A helmet is compulsory for this ride. Puncture repair kit or better still spare inner tubes which are easier to change and a pump. Suitable clothing nothing baggy that could get caught in the chain/gears. Bike lock for café stop. A drink/snacks for the ride. Money/card for café stop. If using an E-bike make sure it is fully charged. Medication if needed.
