We will leave Abbotswood and head through Ampfield along Green Lane before turning into Pound Lane and up to Body Farm. Flexford Road is a pretty flat road and then we turn into the Knightwood area where we pedal along cycle paths until we reach the traffic lights at Castle Lane. More cycle path follows until we cross the road and pedal up Misslebrook Lane. Over the main road and down into the village of Old Chilworth and into Chilworth Golf Club where we will be stopping for coffee. Hopefully the weather will be fine to enable us to sit in the garden. We will join the Botley Road and continue along it until we reach the cycle path, up Highwood Lane and back to Abbotswood.

This is mainly along cycle paths with a few stretches on quiet country lanes. It is relatively flat.Y

You will need a roadworthy bike with properly inflated tyres and a helmet. Please bring tyre levers, an inner tube that fits your bike and a pump in case of a puncture which we can help you repair. You should also have an extra layer if we do have to stop for any reason. Please bring a bottle of water. You will need cash/payment card and a bike lock for our coffee stop.
