Ride with Peter, out via Northwood Hills and Eastcote by road to Alperton then canal towpath to Kings Cross area Pub stop. Visit the London Canal Museum, Return on short stretch of canal towpath then roads via Regents Park, South Hampstead, Willesden Green, Gladstone Park, Dollis Hill, Kingsbury Green and Harrow Weald.
Route change to avoid closed section of Canal Towpath means we are on a reasonable surface, suitable for any bike, throughout the ride. 1,718’ of climbing but nothing challenging except for one short sharp hill in Dollis Hill which can be walked easily. Roads used are mainly quiet but some short stretches of busy major roads. Bike parking inside museum, locks needed for pub stop.
The pub does grub but no coffee or tea. Museum, entry fees: - £5 adult, £4 senior. More details on
