Starting point

WD25 9GP

Garston Medical Centre, 6a North Western Avenue, Watford

Accompany Charles on a 26 mile ride to the scene of the murder of James Grainge at Rabley and hear how, on the night of 31st December 1823, he died. If, after this, you still feel hungry, lunch is at Shenley. It's a medium paced ride so expect to average 10mph but there are hills! Come on any type of bike but bikes with narrow tyres or small wheels, such as Bromptons, may need to avoid the off-road sections and use roads, which would include a short stretch of the busy A41.
