Spokes Social Ride: Celebrate Independance

A ride to Celebrate American Independence by visiting Pendley Manor where Rev. Lawrence Washington met Amphyllis, his future wife. Frogmore Street car park is close to the site of their farm where their son John was born. John emigrated to the USA and was George Washington's great grandfather. A ride to Tring and back with some steep hills and great views. 2,500' of climb. We'll stop for refreshments at the CuriosiTEA Rooms, Pitstone.
