Staying on roads and cycle paths for this route , we head over to Crosby , taking in the Gormley statues , before having our food stop at Waterloo Place . Then on the return we stop off at the bike jumble at Hightown . Suitable for road bikes , Hybrids , and if your brave mtbs . Please check over your bike the day before , and carry 2 tubes , and a means of inflating your tyres . Also a good bike lock will be required for the café stop .
