Southampton Christmas Glow Ride

Looking to do something different for Christmas this year? Why not come along to the Southampton Christmas Glow Ride on the 17th December at 3pm! Riders from Sustrans, Cycling UK, British Cycling and Southampton Cargo bikes are joining together for a Christmas themed Glow Ride, travelling from Southampton Common to the Bargate in Southampton City Centre.

You may be wondering what a Glow Ride is – it’s a bicycle ride where attendees are invited to decorate their bicycles with lights, glow-in-the-dark accessories and other decorations to transform an ordinary bike ride into an amazing visual spectacle! As well as being lots of fun, Glow Rides help riders to be spotted more easily by car drivers, especially during the dark winter nights. So don't forget to Bling your bikes with lights, tinsel and glow sticks - the brighter, the better! There may well be some goodies for those who shine bright on the night!
