South Staffordshire Spring Challenge

This ride will certainly test the legs! 32 miles of Staffordshire and Shropshire lanes with challenging climbs both ways. BUT the scenery is breath taking.  The halfway break will be at the Severn Valley Country Park at Alveley. From here there are stunning views across the valley. The cafe has a fantastic selection of cakes and the best scones! Be prepared for 3 hours of tough riding. Bring plenty of water and food supplies with you. Please wear appropriate clothing - layers are best. This ride will not take place in wet weather as some of the lanes would be too muddy for road bikes. This ride is suitable for road and hybrid bikes. Please make sure you bring puncture repair equipment for your bike and especially at least one spare inner tube to fit your bike.
