About the route
Starting point
Poppins Café in the old market square in Hatfield, we start meeting at 9.30 am for a 10.00 am start. There is a free car park in Link Drive opposite the cafe (1.8m height restriction).
This is a circular route stopping at a Morrison’s in Hoddesdon for a break and returning to Hatfield. The ride features some quiet lanes in Hertfordshire and will about 30-35 miles. There will be a short coffee break halfway around the route. For insurance reasons up to 10 non-members can attend. Non members will be asked to join Cycling UK after 3 rides. (Min age 8, under 18's to be accompanied by an adult). These rides and more can be found at www.shertscyclists.org.uk.
This ride is longer than usual and takes in some lovely but hilly countryside so we could be getting back significantly later than usual.
