south gosforth to the hub for a cuppa, the long way!

Setting off from the two mini roundabouts in south gosforth we'll hop onto the waggonway heading east, when we get to the silverlink we'll jump off the waggonway onto the No10 heading south to the royal quays marina picking up the No72 west along the river back to the newcastle quayside. There is a bike jumble at the hub so opportunity to look through the items for sale with a nice hot cuppa before heading back up through heaton to finish back at south gosforth. The entire ride is on tracks, you'll cross a few roads but it is a nice and easy run with only a couple of hills, nothing nasty! I'm British Cycling ride leader and first aid qualified, you are in reasonably safe hands, we travel at the speed of the slowest rider and bearing in mind i'm on a full suspension moutain bike the speed isn't that quick on a good day! There are plenty of places to park a car for free at south gosforth so you can drive to the start if you wish!
