south gosforth, mini roundabouts, at the sky sign. Plenty of free parking for those wishing to drive to the start.

Starting from the 2 mini roundabouts in south gosforth, right beside the 'sky' sign, we head north skirting killingworth to pick up the No.10 heading east, near earsdon we hop off the No.10 and collect a few tracks, a bridleway and a track accross a field to reach seaton sluice at the southern end, a run down the hill to the roundabout to a cuppa and a break. We'll then be heading back inland past Deleval Hall before picking up another bridleway that initially takes us north before we hop onto another track that leads back to the No.10 this time heading south, at the silverlink we hop onto the waggonways west back to south gosforth. This run is being led by a BC ride leader, I'm first aid qualified, know the area tracks well and the speed of the run will be governed by the slowest rider, this is not a race and we don't leave anybody behind. Bear in mind this is mainly off road, easily navicable by most but damp ground conditions are possible and skinny tyred bikes or slick tyred machines may struggle in places but this is open to anybody that is happy with 30 miles of mixed surfaces which could include mud and small quantities of water. Bring inner tubes (specific for your bike!) and / or puncture repair kits as off road can sometimes cause the odd puncture, i'm not a bike mechanic but i can assist with fixing/making serviceable anything that has problems.
