Canal towpath from Rogerstone to Cwmcarn where we will do a lap of the Scenic Drive before returning back along the canal to Rogerstone.
Note that the Scenic drive includes a climb of 3.4 miles, rising 936 ft. It has an average gradient of 5.2% but hits just over 10% in sections.

Traffic free route along the canal towpath and Scenic Drive

If anybody wants to socialise at the end of the ride we can pop to Tiny Rebel for refreshments.

A good pump, a spare inner tube and a small amount of cash/cards for coffee stops are always a good idea. Plus a helmet for your safety.
