Solihull Breeze - Weatheroak Witherer

Love then or hate them, but there's no better way to warm up or to get fit than the challenge of a few hills!   This is a 23 mile ride including the favourite Weatheroak Hill (plus 2 others) and  so is definitely a more challenging ride.  However, if mentally you're 'up' for the challenge then you're already half way to the top, so don't be put off because we always stop at the top to regroup and catch our breath, as well as to congratulate ourselves on our achievement!   For those of you who enjoyed the Heights and Hills of Wythall ride a few weeks ago then this is similar but longer, and with two different hills! Overall, this should warm us up, stretch us and improve our fitness.    When we're not on the hills the pace will be a moderate 10 to 11 mph and so a road or hybrid bike is most suitable.    Helmets are advisable along with plenty of drinks.  We won't be stopping on the route but please join me for a well earned drink in the Red Lion Pub a the end of the ride.    By the time we finish the ride, and if you are cycling home, we might be losing the light so please have lights for you bike to be safe.
