This is a new ride for Solihull Breeze. It's 22 miles covering some of Sustrans The Lias Line. It's been altered to make this a circular route that brings us back to the start. For those coming from Solihull, the car journey takes about 45 minutes. This ride is for ladies comfortable riding for 22 miles. If you've not been on a Breeze Ride before then our job is to lead and encourage you, as well as to keep you safe. We will aim to keep at a steady pace of 9-10 mph. There will be 2 rides: a beginners ride of 5 miles around the reservoir path, and then this ride will continue on after we all complete the reservoir circuit. It's only suitable for hybrid or mountain bikes because a small section is on a bumpy disused railway track plus another section takes us along a canal tow path. The rest of the route is on quiet country roads passing through pretty villages. Please bring a spare inner tube and a drink for the way round. Also, I did notice that because of the water it was quite chilly riding round the reservoir and so please dress in layers. Bring money for a coffee and cake. We may stop for coffee in the middle of the ride, the end or both! If you need any further information or want to check whether this ride is suitable for you then please text me and I'll give you a call. I look forward to seeing you. Julie 0796 4044889
