Solihull Breeze Challenge Event Training Ride-Fen End

An 11 mile ride ( speed 10 miles per hour), mostly on the quiet country lanes surrounding Knowle. We will cross the river Blythe and its tributaries a total of three times and there are a number of fords. We will see some fine examples of the black and white timber-framed buildings our region is famous for, including Magpie Farm and Frogmore Lodge. The route is suitable for all types of bike, however those on road bikes with skinny tyres will need to take extra care on some sections of narrow lanes that are muddy or gritty. This ride is a good training ride for ladies starting to work towards the 50km breeze Challenge event, and those just looking for a ride out. After the ride, please feel free to join us for a coffee or a drink in The Red Lion at Knowle.
