Snibston & Stephenson - Summer of Cycling

This 4-mile route is perfect for families using quiet side roads and the extensive cycle network around Coalville. The ride takes place mainly on tarmac with a short 500-yard section on a bridleway between Snibston Country Park and Owen street.

A 4 mile ride around Coalville which is over 90% traffic free. A nice gentle ride suitable for all riders aged 5 and above.

This route is suitable for most bikes except those with very skinny road tyres. The majority of the ride takes place on well surfaced cycle paths with a short section on gravel.

Due to the current Covid 19 restrictions were are no toilets available along the route and also (sadly) no cafes. We will however stop at any point on the route should anyone need to stop to take a short break.

All riders should dress accordingly for the weather. Please ensure you bring and tools you may require to repair your bike, a puncture repair kit, spare inner tube, snacks and drinks, and anything else you think you may require to enjoy the ride. Please note all riders under the age of 18 will need to wear a helmet and we advise every rider should wear a helmet.
