Starting at Parsley Hay car park (charges apply) we will cross the busy A515 and head up and over to the village of Monyash. From here we will follow quiet country roads until we join part of the Pennine bridleway which will take us back for our second crossing of the A515. We continue on the Pennine bridleway until we meet the High Peak trail. We follow the High peak trail back to Parsley hay where here is an opportunity to use the toilet facilities if required or grab a drink if needed. We will then continue along the High Peak trail until we bear right onto the Tissington trail. We will leave the Tissington trail to join the NCN 548 which will take us through Biggin and over to our main stop at Hartington. Here we will take a break to eat and drink.
We leave Hartington following the NCN 549 which, after a steady climb, will take us back to the High peak trial and our return to Parsley Hay.
