The Sustrans Stand at Skyride event

This is a 17 mile, gently paced ride using Sustrans route 5 taking the scenic route folowing the River Rea, a short stretch of canal and through parks. The route takes us nearby a number of rail stations - Longbridge, Northfield, Kings Norton and Selly Oak/University should you want to plan a train return/connection. It’s perfect for all abilities, especially if what you want is a nice, steady paced ride. We’ll always ride at the pace of the slowest rider so no one is left behind. We really welcome newcomers to our rides. Take note that the time allocated is therefore an estimation. It's a good idea to bring some water and you may also want to bring a snack.  Please bring some money if you want to buy refreshments, we sometimes have a refreshment stop enroute or at the end. Wearing a helmet is advisable; if you don’t have one please do not to worry you can still take part.  If you enjoy the bike ride and would like to come again perhaps you could look to buy one then.  Inner tube and pump to suit your tyres are essential! Look forward to seeing you there! Janet Don’t forget…. Breeze are on a mission to spread the word about their rides, and need your help. If you introduce one friend who goes on to take part in a Breeze ride, you’ll receive a Breeze water bottle, introduce a second friend, you’ll be the proud owner of one of their swish Breeze Buffs, and introduce a third friend and Breeze will send you £15 of Love2Shop vouchers.
