Cycling support in Manchester
If you’re looking for a brilliant place to cycle; Manchester is it. The city has rides and routes for all abilities and all the family. The Love Your Bike campaign is based in Manchester. This group, co-ordinated by Friends of the Earth, promotes cycling to help make it an attractive, accessible and fun way to get around. Places to ride

The Velodrome
Manchester is the home of British Cycling and the National Cycling Centre and the Manchester Velodrome. It is Britain's first indoor Olympic cycling track and widely regarded as one of the world's finest and fastest board tracks. The rest of the North West
There's some great on and off road riding in the North West from the Trough of Bowland in Lancashire to rugged off road trails in the Lake District. Add to this a well developed network of leisure routes on the flatter coastal area and it's clear that the North West offers a great escape for everyone.
