In 2010, more than 6,000 people took part in Sky Ride Bath. This year we’re expecting even more riders to join in and enjoy the buzzing atmosphere with a variety of fun activities and entertainment. The route is entirely open and optional, so you can come and go as you please and ride for as long as you choose.
Riding a bike can be one of the most rewarding ways to take in Bath’s amazing array of buildings and landmarks. The beautiful Royal Victoria Park for example, will provide an ideal spot to stop off for a picnic and play games, as well as a remarkable backdrop to the ride.
We’re holding Sky Rides across the UK with the aim of getting one-million more people cycling regularly by 2013. Last year, over 216,000 people got involved nationwide and this summer it’s going to be even bigger. All over the country, more and more people are getting on their bikes every day. Join Sky Ride to find out where your bike will take you.
