Join us for a Saturday traffic free ride down the towpath and Trans Pennine Trail to the popular Skelton Lake Services, there is plenty to see, Kirkstall Abbey, Hibiscus Rising, The Tetley, Monk Bridge Viaduct Garden and Stourton Stone Circle

We will head over the bridge across the railway track (there is lifts) to pick up the path to the towpath and then its down to Leeds, coming off at Wharfe Approach for a very short section of road, onto cycle path at Bridgewater Place, across at the lights and pick up the path beside Asda House, through Aire Park and onto Leeds Dock, here we pick up TPT, there is a set of stairs to descend/ascend but assistance will be given (picture below), after we pass under M1 we turn left up the path and over the river to Skelton Lake and our coffee stop

Bring your own picnic or choose from the many eateries in the services

Leaving our stop we will retrace our route back to Kirkstall Forge

The weather is looking good so should be a nice leisurely ride
