Predominantly off road route, joining the canal towpath up to Risca and along the Sirhowey Valley.

Mainly off road and traffic free, getting some shelter from the elements from the trees along the towpath.

Café stop at Abercarn.

A good pump, a spare inner tube and a small amount of cash for coffee stops are always a good idea. Plus a helmet for your safety.
